Rick Hedrick and Bob Bolick Score the Win in Lake Hickory Winter Trail
What a beautiful day it turned out to be. 44 fishermen braved the cold this morning to fish The Lake Hickory Winter Trail. Today's winners were "Bigfoot" Rick Hedrick and "Uncle" Bob Bolick with 10.66 lbs for $500. They also won sidepot of $825. 2nd place was Tony Davis and "Bruiser" Tim Bowman with 9.78 lbs for $350. 3rd place was Keith Poovey and Garrett Poovey with 9.64 lbs for $180. 4th place was TLC Pro Staffer Chad McKinney and Dennis"Luther" Combs with 8.84 lbs for the $20 gift card to Captain's Galley. McKinney also took home the TLC Lunkerbucks award. Big fish was a tie today: Rick and Bob had a 5.26lber and so did Chad and Dennis. They all agreed to split the money, so they got $110 a team. What a great group of people we have!!!! Next Saturday, February 29th we will fish from 9am-3pm due to the Annual Polar Plunge at Wittenberg Access. We are not fishing Saturday March 7th due to the CBC, however our finale will be Saturday, March 14th and our sponsor Tennessee Lunker Co will be joining us, along with some other fellow Tennessee fishermen, to fish.
