Billy Gunter and Patrick Score the Win at Lake Hickory; TLC Pro Staffer, Chad McKinney, Takes Home Another Top-3 Finish

Even though it was cold, and ended up a wet day for the Lake Hickory Winter Trail, 61 fish anglers competed. This qualified the trail for Skeeter money once again. 1st place was Billy Gunter and Patrick with 8.56 lbs for $550 and big fish weighing 4.30 lbs for $305 and sidepot of $1,350. Billy was also signed up for the TLC Fishing newsletter so he won $25 Lunker bucks. Great job guys!!

2nd place was Chad Midkiff with 7.98 lbs for $350. 3rd place was TLC Pro Staffer, Chad McKinney, and his partner, Dennis "Luther" Combs with 7.62 lbs for $230. 4th place was Ashley Brotherton and Seth Brotherton with 7.16 lbs for $140. 5th place was Alex Huffman and Lucas Frye with 6.90 lbs for $20 gas from Honey Pik. 6th place was Tom McCombs and Darryl Brown with 6.88 lbs for $20 Max's Mexican Eatery.

The Lake Hickory Winter Trail will NOT be competing on Saturday, March 7th in respect of the CBC. The last stop for the Lake Hickory Winter Trail will be Saturday, March 14th with our main sponsor Tennessee Lunker Co (TLC Fishing) and friends coming to compete. TLC Fishing will have some great prizes as well as the other sponsors of the trail: Captain's Galley, Honey Pik, PJ'S Seafood and Steak, Max's Mexican Eatery, and Lance Cook State Farm Insurance.
